Feasibility study

If necessary, before an airborne imaging campaign it's possible to confirm the potential contribution of hyperspectral imaging :
  • Ground truth measures are collected with a portable spectroradiometer on the representative zones. A series of spectral measurements is performed for each theme to discriminate.
  • Then, the measures are analyzed in the laboratory and compared to the observation of the phenomenon. At this moment, we determine precisely the correlation between the level of discrimination provided by the unit who knows the environment, and the level of discrimination determined by analysing the different spectral signatures.

In the example against, the feasibility study done in collaboration with the Chamber of Agriculture of the Dordogne focuses on the soil resistivity.
