Hyperspectral images
Hyperspectral imagery is a technology used describe a single scene through many thin spectral bands. Each spectral band is tunable in specific
wavelength ranges (visible, near infrared, mid infrared, thermal infrared). This booming technology can detect and discriminate objects better
than conventional imagery.
Hyperspectral imagery provides solutions to many
applications.
Because of the high resolution in both spectral (more that 200 bands inVNIR) and spatial (30cm/pixel) domain, it is possible to enhance and expand
field works. Airborne imagery also provides flexibility and reactiveness : dates, acquisition frequency and area to cover can be specified / modified
in a very short time slot.
Finally, the acquisition-optimized flight plans ensure minimal costs while ensuring the required measurement quality.
