Airborne image acquisition

The image acquisition is performedby hyperspectral sensor mounted onboard a twin engine aircraft. The flight plan (adjacent track lines) is carefully designed to ensure the whole site acquisition a the required spatial and spectral resolutions while minimizing the cost due to the fligh time.

During the survey, the custom-designed navigation tools developed in the TSI2M laboratory provide accurate routing through the flight plan. The recorded features (positioning data quality, aircraft behaviour, image dynamics) are real-time monitored to ensure hight quality images.
